E-book Formats

We offer four formats for download. We chose the formats based on our assessment of the market and what best fits the needs of the average e-book consumer. Below is information regarding each format available for download on our site including links to download software to read the materials. Cobblestone Press also works diligently to create an online environment friendly to the visually impaired. Microsoft LIT

Windows Computer or Tablet PC

Pocket PC (handheld)

Benefits:

Looks and reads like a print book. Pages are easy to flip with your keyboard or mouse. If you have a Pocket PC you can take your books where ever you go.

ClearType technology increases readability and decreases eye strain.

The reader allows you to bookmark your page and make notes if needed.

Our LIT files can be used with text-to-speech software for the visually impaired.

Windows Computer or Tablet PC

Macintosh Computer

Pocket PC and Palm can also be configured (additional software for your device would be required) to read PDF's but it's not the best format for handheld devices.

Benefits:

Our PDF's can be printed

Easy to bookmark, search, and highlight material

HTML

No additional software needed.

Benefits:

HTML files are printable and can be viewed with any internet browse such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Netscape.
